The Yakima Valley Center for Democracy is holding its **inaugural event** at The Crown (formerly The Seasons) from 6:30 to 8:00, Thursday, Aug. 13. We are honored, and lucky, to have **Christopher Armitage** as our speaker. His practical, legal, nonviolent frameworks for states and communities to push back against federal overreach are replicable and inspiring.
